Syed founded American Leadership Academy (K-12 grade Islamic School) in 2021, and ALA School Property Partners LP in 2024. He has over 27 years of executive leadership experience as he founded his first company in 1997. His passion for education sector dates back to 2003 when he established Gillani Scholars Program with University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) and gifted Gillani’s ERP/Supply-chain software to the university for teaching and research purposes. Syed has served on university advisory boards and K-12 grade school boards for over 20 years.
